The FOX25 Morning News team celebrated ten years of Zip Trips during a live FOX25 Morning News broadcast in Union Square Friday morning with co-hosts Shannon Mulaire and Gene Lavanchy, Meteorologist Shiri Spear, News Commentator Doug “VB” Goudie and Reporter Elizabeth Hopkins. Testing to be done in West Somerville. Smoke is nontoxic, non-staining and creates no fire hazard. Individuals in testing areas with respiratory problems and who are immobile should call (978)-416-8000.

Smoke and dye testing of portions of Somerville’s sewer lines to identify connections between the drain and sanitary sewer systems will be conducted by city contractors Wright-Pierce beginning Monday, July 29, and continuing at various times through Friday, August 9. Residents will be notified via phone and email alerts prior to testing in your neighborhood.

Bertram A. Gay was born August 21, 1940 in Wales, the second child of the (late) Florence Bowman  & Bertram A. Gay. He was the beloved husband for 49 yrs to Dorothy Kelly Gay. Devoted father of Geraldine Barker and her husband Tim of Pawling, New York, and Donald Gay and his wife Lisa of Somerville, MA. Brother of Doreen Coombe and her husband Donald of Christchurch, England. Loving Boppa of Timmy, Evan, Shannon, Melissa and Brian. Cherished godfather of Louise Noonan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in England, Ireland, and Dubai.
