Join representatives of the City Council, School Committee, Somerville High School Building Committee, and Infrastructure and Asset Management Department on Monday, March 16, for a community meeting to discuss construction progress and remaining work to be done on the Somerville High School Building project. The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Somerville High School cafeteria, 81 Highland Ave. Light refreshments will be served.

This meeting is primarily intended for neighbors who live and work near the high school construction site. The presentation will focus on logistics plans and anticipated impacts of construction over the next several months.

    I presume they will announce that they will in fact build a parking garage so that half the teaching staff doesn’t quit and so that people can visit the campus when there are events

    Jim, you’re funny! Everything I’ve heard is confirmation that they are not replacing most of the parking taken away for a monstrosity that we can never hope to fill with students. Do you think the City Hall parking spots will be replaced? Right now I can’t even go to the library because there is zero parking.
    (Trolls, before you start I am unable to walk, bike, or take the bus there.)
