American Red Cross volunteers met with 5 residents of a single family house a 68R Dane Street. Emergency funds for food were given to 5; emergency hotel was given to 1; smoke packs were given to 5 residents.

At 25 Lewis Street, there are 9 students displaced. Three will be given emergency funds for clothes. Nine are accepting emergency funds for food. Volunteers are also on scene making sure all have comfort kits – gender-specific toiletries and items like tooth brushes – and smoke packs for six. Smoke packs are very strong detergents that remove the smell of smoke from clothing so a favorite quilt or sweatshirt can be saved.
