Get ready to dance, celebrate, and show your Pride. Mayor Ballantyne and the Somerville Arts Council invite you for the return of Big Gay Dance Party in Union Square Plaza on Saturday, June 21, from 5 to 8:00 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, June 22). 

This all-ages celebration will feature music by the one and only DJ Live, plus dazzling drag performances by Amanda Playwith, Lilly Rose Valore, and this year’s special guest, Drag King Tommy Boss. 

The theme this year is “Halloween in June”. Whether it’s spooky, silly, or somewhere in between—bring your best costume and hit the dance floor in style. 

Local organizations will be tabling to provide information and resources. They include Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA)’s Sexual Reproductive Health Department, the Somerville Office of Immigrant Affairs, Somerville Public Schools’ Genders and Sexualities Alliance (GSAs), RESPOND, Inc., and more.
