The Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers (MAPS) has been named one of the best Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) community testing centers in Massachusetts by Testing.com, an online educational guide for medical lab testing and at-home screening.

The MAPS HIV/ Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) program offers many free services, including in-person outreach, mobile test clinics, appointment-based testing, and no-cost and confidential health clinics on a weekly basis out of its offices in Cambridge, Lowell, Somerville, Framingham, and Brighton. Additionally, MAPS’ Community Health Workers guide community members through a personalized risk reduction plan and provide linkage to healthcare, information about PrEP and other prevention tools, and access to resources and support for those living with HIV/ AIDS, other STDs, or Hepatitis.
