Somerville Police Crime Log Sept. 28 – Oct. 3

Robbery
On 9/28/22 at approximately 4:01 p.m., Somerville Police responded to 268 Powder House Blvd for report of a past robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two juvenile victims who stated they were approached by two juvenile males whom demanded they give up their phones. The victims complied and both suspects fled into the Clarendon Hill Housing.

Assault
On 9/27/22 at approximately 4:26 p.m. Somerville Housing Police responded to an apartment complex on Memorial Rd for a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a juvenile male who stated he was punched repeatedly by six other males.
 
Attempted Residential Breaking and Entering
On 10/2/22 at approximately 10:43 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Oliver St for a past attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated at approximately 5:00 AM, he received a motion alert on his home surveillance then observed a male party running from his side door. There were scratches observed on the door knob and lock but no entry was made.
 
Commercial Breaking and Entering
On 10/1/22 at approximately 9:13 a.m., Somerville Police responded to an office building on Elm St for a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he rented an office in the building and when he arrived, observed three individuals inside sleeping. All three individuals left prior to police arrival.
 
Commercial Breaking and Entering
On 10/3/22 at approximately 12:34 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Windsor St for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated sometime between 9/29/22 and 10/3/22; an unknown party gained access to the building and stole 15 laptops. Officers observed pry marks on the IT office door.
