Union Square’s 5th Annual Holiday Stroll gets elfie

Nearly 45 local businesses and Union Square Main Streets will merrily present the Union Square Holiday Stroll for a fifth year on Saturday, December 14 from noon to 6:00 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event invites all to join in an afternoon of Union Square discovery filled with festive happenings and holiday delight. Event-goers will find:

  • Rad retail

  • Unique eats

  • An incredible inflatable selfie station and Festivus Trail – including a life-size hugging bear

  • An outdoor warming station by CultureHouse featuring marshmallow toasting

  • Strolling musicians from Union Lesson Studios, WholeTone Music Academy, and Mass Whole Notes

  • Visits with Santa

  • Ornament making among other grownup and kids crafts

  • Multiple Holiday Popup Markets

  • Storefront decoration contest

  • Robots, dancing, treats and more

  • Each participating business cranks up the jolly with special, festive offerings that make spirits merry and celebrate cultures from around the globe

Attendees who stroll the Square and feel particularly elfie can take a selfie, share it on Instagram, tag @unionsquarems and #loveunionsquare, to be entered to win a Union Square prize package.

“Union Square is bursting with award-winning eateries, increasingly diverse retail, and a sense of community that makes preparing for the holidays here memorable.” said Jessica Eshleman, executive director of Union Square Main Streets. “Stroll revelers will be treated to festive happenings inside shops and along sidewalks, and can feel great knowing shopping at local businesses is way more fun than Amazon and keeps squares like ours funky and unique.”

Bundle up and come on down Saturday, December 14 to unwrap Union Square in all its wintry wonderment.
