East Somerville Main Streets has announced their 2019 Photo Contest Winners: Emily Ackman, Stan Eichner, Jeanine Jenks Farley, Michele J Martin, Julia Murphy, Deborah Pacini, Benjamin Preston, and Bill Trudell.

Highlights from the photo contest include pictures featuring East Somerville notable events such as Carnaval, Foodie Crawl, Howl-o-ween Pet Parade and the Somerville Historic Preservation’s Scavenger Hunt. Also highlighted are community art staples such as the David Zayas mural at 44 Broadway (Taco Loco) as well as Mudflat Pottery Studios.

East Somerville Main Streets hopes that these photos will inspire everyone to appreciate the unique beauty of our community.

The winning photographs are featured in the 2020 East Somerville Calendar. Calendars are $15 and the proceeds go towards supporting East Somerville Main Streets programming. This is a great way to catch a glimpse of the neighborhood through the months and seasons of the year right in your home or office. It makes a great gift too. Printed in the USA 11″ x 8.5″.

Calendars can be ordered online, by mail or in person at the East Somerville Main Streets office on Glen Street.  Calendars will be available for delivery and pick-up starting November 30th. To order a calendar contact Jen Atwood at Director@Eastsomervillemainstreets.org or go to https://www.eastsomervillemainstreets.org.
