West Somerville Neighborhood School just wrapped up the first ever Boosterthon Fun Run. Boosterthon is a school solutions provider that goes into elementary and middle schools all over the country and provides a two-week experience, including both character and wellness elements.

During the program, the students learn all about character enrichment lessons in the Mind Spark Mystery lab and how to become a better 21st century hero. They also work towards a school goal. It is safe to say WSNS blew their school fundraising goal out of the water in just three short days of the 2-plus week pledge period. WSNS also received not only local support but support from all over the world.

As a school, WSNS collected pledges from all 50 states and 10 countries. The last day of the program, students, staff and the community were able to celebrate all their efforts at the big Fun Run event. Every student in the school got to participate in the Fun Run and everyone had a blast.
