About 100 Homes

The goal of the 100 Homes Program, in partnership between the City and Somerville Community Corp., and utilizing Community Preservation Funding, among other City funding, is for SCC to acquire scattered site multi-family properties in neighborhoods across the City to establish rental housing that is permanently affordable. By removing these properties from the speculative market and providing permanent affordability through deed restrictions, households with a range of low and moderate incomes, including units affordable to households earning at or below 50% of AMI and up to 100% of AMI, will be able to access quality safe and affordable housing. This also is an important tool in addressing displacement.

The City of Somerville is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability or any other protected category. Women, minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Individuals with disabilities who need auxiliary aids and services for effective communication, written materials in alternative formats, or reasonable modifications in policies and procedures, in order to access the programs and activities of the City of Somerville or to attend meetings, should contact the City’s ADA Coordinator, Nency Salamoun, at 617-625-6600 x2323 or NSalamoun@somervillema.gov.
