The Tufts University Department of Music presents Tufts Takht: Kawkab Al-Sharq in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center on Saturday, December 8, at 4:30 p.m.

Tufts Takht celebrates the renowned Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum. Tufts Takht will present some of her most famous songs in a tribute to Egypt’s golden era of culture.
