The City of Somerville held its annual “Haunted Hall” event at City Hall, Somerville High School, and the concourse on Thursday, October 18.

The family-friendly event featured costumed safe Trick-or-Treating, pumpkin decorating, games and activities, refreshments, a Haunted pathway tour, and more.

Children of all ages – along with a few “in the spirit” adults donned colorful, Halloween-themed costumes for the occasion.

The younger attendees were invited to participate in the annual “Halloween Stroll,” stepping off at 6:15 p.m. Costumes were encouraged for all ages, and all “haunted” elements were appropriate for attendees of all ages.

The event has proven to be a family favorite over the years, and offers a chance for kids and parents to take part in an alternative way to celebrate the Halloween spirit.

Many of the attendees thanked the city’s organizers and wished them the best for the holiday.
