Free meals all summer for Somerville youth

The 2018 Summer Meals program began on July 2. Free breakfast and lunch prepared by Somerville’s award-winning Food and Nutrition Services Department will be available all summer for youth under the age of 19.

The program is provided by Somerville Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services Department and by the Somerville Recreation Department.

The following is a list of locations and times where kids can enjoy a nutritious meal this summer:

Free breakfast

Foss Park Pool (McGrath and Broadway):

7/5 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 9:30 – 9:45 a.m.

KidStop @ Powderhouse Park (8550 Broadway):

7/5 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 9:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Free lunch

Foss Park (McGrath and Broadway):

7/5 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 a.m.

Dilboy Pool (110 Alewife Brook Parkway):

7/5 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Mystic Housing & Playground (Mystic Avenue):

7/5 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Walnut Street Playground

7/2 – 8/10 Monday – Friday 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 a.m.

Trum Field (541 Broadway):

7/9 – 7/13 Monday – Friday 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Hodgins Park (Holland Street):
