The City of Somerville is seeking local artists to design a new, City TV logo for Channels 13/16 programming.  The new logo would be shown on all City TV programs, on the City website and in local print media.  The logo should reproduce well in newsprint, but use of color is strongly encouraged.  The new logo should include the numbers 13/16 to represent City TV channels, as well as the City’s name.  Top entries will also convey the City’s use of web media.

Top submissions will be put to a vote by Somerville community members in November, with the final winner receiving a $50 stipend.  Interested applicants should submit a sketch or low-res jpeg to Cable Director Steve DeCarlo at SDecarlo@somervillema.gov by no later than Friday, October 29th.  Top submissions will be announced via City TV, on the City website and in local print media during the month of November.  For more information, please contact Director of Communications Michael Meehan at MMeehan@somervillema.gov, or 617-625-6600 ext. 2620.
