There is nothing like starting the day off with a full, hearty breakfast. That being said, located in Teele Square, this, “hole in the wall”, offers many choices sure to satisfy all palates, including egg sandwiches, waffles, buttermilk pancakes, omelets, combination of eggs and pancakes, and some sides such as fruit, hash, bacon and sausage. Vegetarian options are also available.

I have tried a few different offerings on the menu, but there is one item I keep coming back to, the Eggs Benedict with corned beef hash. This is far from the run of the mill corned beef hash. This hash is made in house and has a distinct flavor of a combination of spices and has a stringy but tender texture with potatoes added as a tradition. The hash is placed on lightly toasted or grilled English muffin and topped off with two poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce and served with home fried red potatoes. Another favorite is the Ham ‘N Apple omelet consisting of sautéed honey ham, apples and Brie. This salty, sweet and tart combination encased in fluffy eggs is truly satisfying and also served with home fried red potatoes and your choice of toast.

In addition to the regular menu, be sure to check out the specials board for featured omelets and sides.

If you’re looking for a hearty and filling breakfast to keep you going all morning it’s worth the trip. Just make sure you get here early.
