The man or woman who assumes the roll of Commander and Chief of our nation must be ready willing and able to rise to the occasion when called upon to do so. Each one of us, whoever we may be supporting in this year’s election, is searching our heart to determine whom we feel will best fill those shoes.

Most of us seem to be very confident that our favored candidate is up to the task. Others bemoan a lack of integrity or skills required to do the job well among those who are running.

Either way, if we feel passionate enough in our convictions then it is clearly incumbent on each of us to do our part and make sure we make our voices heard by voting in the upcoming Presidential Election in November.

This means that we must have the foresight and capability to register for voting if we have not already done so. The process is quick and easy, and is an absolute requirement for being allowed to cast a vote. No exceptions.

Early voting has even become an option, in consideration of those who may not be able to go to the polls on Election Day. So there really is no excuse for not voting.

However it all turns out, let us hope that the new president will rise to the occasion and realize the potential they may have to become as great as others who have gone before them. We are facing more trying times, and the right choice is now more important than ever.
