India Palace has been serving fine Indian food for close to 20 years in the heart of Union Square. In addition to dining in, take out and free delivery is also available throughout the city. They also offer catering services.

There are many dishes to choose from including chicken, seafood, tandoori, lamb and rice as well as vegetarian choices. They also offer twenty one choices of freshly baked Indian breads.

To start, we ordered vegetable samosas. A fried dough filled with potato and peas mixed with a blend of spices producing a crisp, creamy, savory and sweet mouthful of goodness. We also tried the naan special made with mango and coconut that went perfectly with the savory flavors of the other dishes. The chicken Biryani rice was well balanced with spices and vegetables, the chicken was tender with an infused flavor of mint. The Raita, (yogurt condiment), added a nice tangy accompaniment to the dish. Chicken tikka masala, a very popular dish, was served in a rich, tangy and spicy tomato and cream sauce had just a hint of sweetness.

They offer multiple beers that are imported from India that add to the experience and go perfectly with the tangy and spicy foods.
