plaque_collierdedication_2015Somerville Police Officer Sean Collier dedication organized by retired Somerville Police Officer John O’Connor & Deputy Chief Stephen Carrabino took place at the Somerville Police Department on Saturday January 31, 2015. Officer Collier was murdered by the Boston Marathon bombers in April 2013.B.A. Event Promotions was able to donate the funds necessary for the dedication plaque, from tremendous support of their events in Worcester, Hyannis, Harwich, Cambridge & Somerville. Sean worked many charity road races put on by many different organizations in Somerville, Massachusetts as an officer with the Somerville Auxiliary Police Department as well as his distinguished service as a police officer with the MIT Police Department, It was a sad day on Saturday but a good day to be able to dedicate the plaque at the Somerville Police Department to a wonderful person committed to community service.

In attendance was the Collier Family, Somerville Mayor Curtatone, Somerville Alderman Jack Connolly, Somerville Police Deputy Chief Stephen Carrabino, Somerville Police Officer John O’Connor, Somerville Auxiliary Police Chief Jerry Carvahlo, Somerville Police Department Honor Guard and numerous other police personal.
