A quiet protest of two individuals on Winter Hill in front of Citizens bank on Monday drew the attention of many passers by and customers of the bank.

One customer was offended by the protesters’ signs that read “Impeach Obama” so he called the Somerville Police.

The police arrived and explained to the person complaining that the protesters were not disturbing anyone and had the right to be there as it was a public sidewalk.

The protesters were passing out literature from the Lyndon LaRouche PAC only to those requesting the literature. The police had a discussion with the protesters and then again with the person who said he was offended by what they were doing.

Shortly thereafter the police left and later on the protesters left as well.

One customer of the bank was so disturbed by the protest that he called the police.
