Somerville Neighborhood News is a production of Somerville Community Access Television, made by professional journalists, volunteers and staff. The half-hour news show has as its mission to provide a lively, informative newscast focusing on the events, issues and information impacting Somerville residents.

Here is what to expect in SNN # 17. As of May 23, businesses and institutions are not allowed to use styrofoam take-out containers and cups. Are they obeying the law? And what’s the city doing to enforce it? Our reporters headed to “Carnaval” to see what it means to East Somerville, covered a meeting of the “Rodent Issues Special Committee” and talked to Somerville workers who were downtown to rally for a $15 minimum wage. To find out more, watch Somerville Neighborhood News Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on Channel 3 or on our website at www.scatvsomerville.org/snn. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter @SCATVSNN.
