The Nave Gallery and the Somerville Arts Council presented the 2nd Somerville Squeezebox Slam on Saturday, June 14, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The celebration of accordions, button boxes and other freestanding reed instruments were a hit with the appreciative crowds that gathered to listen.

Accordionists of all skill levels and musical genres were invited to stroll around the neighborhoods of Somerville, sharing their melodious sounds.

The event culminated in a gathering of all players in Davis Square for a grand finale concert.
