Two Cats as Lilo and Stitch winning Best Combo.

Chuckie Harris Park went to our four-legged friends this Halloween for a pet costume contest. There were also activities for families and kids.
Lindsay Allen, Executive Director at East Somerville Main Streets, who was dressed as the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz, spoke as the host of the dog parade and contest, welcoming a broad range of pets.
There were a total of twenty participants in the contest. The costumes ranged from food to animated characters.

When the contest concluded, the band played a couple of songs then the winners were announced. The categories were “Most Creative Pet Costume,” “Best Combo,” and “Most Funny.”
A Dog dressed as a baked potato won “Most Funny.” The winner of the “Most Creative Pet Costume” was a dog dressed as a member of the Torrin Army, honoring the people from Scotland who were here for the World Cup earlier this summer. And the winners of the “Best Combo” were two cats dressed as “Lilo and Stitch.”
