Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone announced that the Spring 2011 ResiStat meetings will be held in May and June, beginning on Monday, May 9th with the Ward 4 Neighborhood Meeting at the Winter Hill Community School on Sycamore St.  Mayor Curtatone, ward and at-large aldermen, City staff and police will discuss issues of importance for each neighborhood, as well as citywide initiatives and the budget outlook for Fiscal Year 2012.  Residents can raise their concerns and offer their ideas during an open Q&A.  Residents are also encouraged to visit the ResiStat website, somervilleresistat.blogspot.com, and to take the resident survey to help develop the meeting agenda.

Residents can receive updates with additional information prior to each meeting by subscribing to the ResiStat Weekly Update, visit the ResiStat website, somervilleresistat.blogspot.com (click “Email Updates), or call 311.  ResiStat is the resident outreach program of the City’s SomerStat office, which fosters data-driven problem-solving. ResiStat brings data on City operations and policies to the neighborhoods and solicits input and ideas from residents.   To sign up for ResiStat updates, please contact ResiStat Coordinator, Denise Taylor, at DTaylor@somervillema.gov.

Each meeting will include a presentation as well as an open Q&A from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. where you can bring up your concerns and ideas. A casual Meet & Greet with light refreshments from 7:30 to 8 p.m. will follow. All locations are wheelchair accessible.

On rare occassions pressing city matters may require the rescheduling of a meeting. Please always check the ResiStat Calendar to confirm date and time before attending.
