
The Somerville Museum is calling all Somerville Artists to submit a proposal and portfolio to create this year’s fundraiser invitation that celebrates the innovation of the world’s first Telephone call that was put through on April 4, 1877 to one Arlington Street in Somerville. At the fundraiser on September 10 at the Crystal Ballroom, They will celebrating a year of phone public art projects, telephone history, and all the ways that we are “connected” to each other! By May 1st, submit a proposal describing your design and samples of the style of work you would use, along with a bio and a cv as one .pdf document to info@somervillemuseum.org and the subject line PICK UP artist call.
