The ceremony, co-hosted by the Somerville Department of Veterans’ Services and Public Space and Urban Forestry Division, took place on Thursday, October 16, on the lawn in front of Somerville High School. The Central Hill Veterans Memorials restoration project was a component of the new Somerville High School campus design. Coming out of an extensive community process, the vision for the site includes a memorial walk with reflective spaces honoring veterans in chronological order.
