A big thank you and note of appreciation to the postal ladies at the Winter Hill Post Office,  both of them always have a nice smile, and are always,  just as important very helpful to the public. Many times a week several of us from the paper are in and out of there, we thought we would mention how nice these ladies are, say hi to them with a smile and mention you read it here.  We know they are also great fans of our Ms. Cam’s Olio questions.

Don’t forget for a free eye exam, the Somerville Lion’s Club is having the Lion’s Eyemoblie back here in the city at the Healy School Tuesday April 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We hear that Lady J is up to it again, she was spotted we hear dumping more of our papers from last week’s delivery, apparently she was trying to hide something from the elderly that constantly look for the paper out in the hall. We get calls from several of the elderly at the various functions complaining no papers but the delivery guy was just there. We understand another employee caught her doing this again.  We hear through the grapevine Demo man, her husband, has been trying to get the paper from printing anything more. Now we deliver to 170 locations throughout the city, and we’re online if someone wants to read the paper they can.

We wish our friend Jim Campano who hosts “Somerville Pundit” show, on local cable every Wednesday evening, as well as a former candidate for Alderman in Ward 6. Jim is at home now after major surgery last week. He even did his TV show last Wednesday, after being home for just a day.    Jim has been walking Davis Square as part of his therapy so when you see him out, wish him well.
