Kick Off Meeting on 10/15

Help shape the future design of one of Somerville’s most used streets.

The City of is planning to rebuild the segment of Broadway that passes through Magoun Square, spanning from Winchester St. to Central St. In addition to rebuilding the sidewalks and repaving this roadway, the City will look to redesign the street to make it safer, more accessible, and to promote sustainable transportation options. 

Community members are invited to attend a virtual meeting on Wednesday, October 15, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. online via Zoom. City staff will introduce the project and attendees are welcome to share their ideas and experiences travelling along Broadway.

Opportunities to participate in the initial planning and design of the project will continue throughout the next year through a survey, pop-events, local business outreach, community tabling, and more.
