On 3/2/24 at approximately 7:21 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on Medford St. for a check condition. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated the night prior, he was visiting his storage unit and observed a male party known to him inside it. He then reported the male party held him hostage inside the storage unit until he was eventually able to escape. The male suspect stole the victim’s jacket and wallet.
