Somerville community members are invited to join a community meeting on Monday, January 22, to learn more about the Area Plan for the Broadway corridor, which extends from Ball Square to the crest of Winter Hill. 

The plan is part of a partnership between the cities of Somerville and Medford to address challenges related to split parcels and conflicting zoning regulations along the corridor, establishing a unified urban design vision for the Broadway Corridor. 

Broadway Corridor Kickoff Meeting Details

Place: Healey School (5 Meacham St)

This kickoff meeting will give attendees an opportunity to share their opinions and concerns about current zoning in the area, as well as provide information from the Somerville planning team. Community input will help city teams recommend zoning and policy changes to streamline and coordinate regulations between the two cities.
