A 35-year-old Somerville woman showing signs of intoxication told responding police officers Feb. 9 that she graduated from the University of Hawaii before insisting that officers tell her where they attended college.

Raquel Salois, 35, of 191 Cedar St., allegedly entered a cab in Davis Square and told the driver she wanted to go to Davis Square. When the driver told her she was in that area and asked her where exactly she needed to go, Salois insisted he take her to Davis Square.

The driver called police and Salois allegedly struck a responding officer in the chin her with her key chain and key. She was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
