Somerville Police Crime Log Sept. 26 – Oct. 2

Residential Breaking and Entering
On 9/26/23 at approximately 8:48 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Belmont St. for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated the front door was forced open. Nothing was reported missing.
 

Commercial Breaking and Entering
On 10/1/23 at approximately 8:15 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a business on Broadway for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke the owner who stated a male party broke the front window with a piece of asphalt then reached in and stole several vape pens.
 
Assault
On 9/27/23 at approximately 2:39 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a residence on Maine St. for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she got involved in an argument with her neighbor while on the porch of his residence. During the argument, the victim was pushed down the stairs of the porch. She suffered injuries to her back and neck.
 
Assault
On 9/26/23 at approximately 12:58 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Temple St. and Broadway for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party lying on the ground suffering from an injury to his face. Officers spoke with a witness who stated the victim was inside a nearby business and got involved in an argument with another male. During the argument, the other male punched the victim.
