Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the Somerville Historic Preservation Commission present May 2023 Preservation Month.

Events honoring Somerville’s history and historic assets. All events are open to the public, ADA accessible, and rain or shine.

Docent Events:

Thursday, May 4, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Launch of Docent Opening:
Old Powder House at the intersection of Liberty Ave. and Powderhouse Terrace, off Broadway.

Sunday, May 7, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Launch of Docent Opening:
Milk Row Cemetery at 438 Somerville Ave., next to Market Basket.

Thursday, May 11, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Launch of Docent Opening: Prospect Hill Tower, at the intersection of Munroe and Bigelow Sts.

Thursday, May 18, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Docent Opening: Milk Row Cemetery at 438 Somerville Ave., next to Market Basket.

Saturday, May 20, 10:00 a.m. – noon
Docent Opening: Prospect Hill Tower, at the intersection of Munroe and Bigelow Streets.

Saturday, May 27, 10:00 a.m. – noon
