Arrests:

Mauro Spindola, of Medford, April 10, 12:41 p.m., arrested at Broadway on a warrant charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Stephen Fusco, of Providence, RI, April 12, 4:26 p.m., arrested at Somerville Ave. on a warrant charge of shoplifting by asportation.

Ricardo Silva, April 15, 5:23 p.m., arrested at Broadway on charges of assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Quentin Harris, April 16, 6:42 p.m., arrested at Assembly Row on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and larceny under $1200, and on warrant charges of larceny under $1200, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, motor vehicle operator failure to identify self, and possession of a class B drug.

 

Residential Breaking & Entering

On 4/13/23 at approximately 8:03 a.m. Somerville Police responded to an apartment complex in Assembly Row for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that his storage unit was broken into and multiple electronics were stolen.
 
Commercial Breaking & Entering
 
On 4/13/23 at approximately 8:25 a.m., Somerville Police responded to a construction site on Middlesex Ave for report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that overnight, someone broke into the work site and spray painted several structures and equipment.
 
Assault
On 4/13/23 at approximately 6:03 p.m. Somerville Police responded to Broadway & Temple St for a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed two male parties involved in an altercation. One of the males was then observed pushing the other male to the ground several times. The victim suffered injuries to his elbows. Officers identified the suspect.
 
Arrest
On 4/16/23 at approximately 6:42 p.m. Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for report of a male party threatening people with a knife. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two security guards who stated that the suspect stole numerous items from a nearby store. When the security guards approached him, the suspect brandished a knife and swung it at them. The security guards then alerted officers that the suspect was trying to enter a car stopped at a red light on Middlesex Ave. Officers stopped the vehicle and ordered the suspect to exit. Officers then located a knife in the suspects pocket and bags containing the stolen items. He was placed under arrest.
 
Arrest
On 4/15/23 at approximately 5:23 PM, Somerville Police responded to 78 Broadway for report of an injured party. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down by multiple people who pointed to the male suspect. Officers then detained the suspect while they gathered more information. While speaking with a witness, officers learned that the suspect struck the victim in the head with a bottle. The victim suffered injuries to his face. The suspect was then placed under arrest.
