Prosecutors are deciding if they will upgrade charges against a Somerville man accused of killing his brother in a domestic dispute.

Kenneth Belski died Jan. 15, two days after a family argument in which his brother Mark Belski allegedly put him in a headlock.

When he arrived at Cambridge Hospital, Kenneth Belski was bleeding from his mouth and his heart had nearly stopped, according to a police report filed at Somerville District Court.

Mark Belski was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery the day of the incident. Prosecutors are reviewing the charges against Belski and continuing to investigate, said Middlesex District Attorney spokeswoman Cara O’Brien.

The incident allegedly happened at the family home on Pearl Street.
