First flu vaccine clinic for seniors (65+) scheduled for Sept. 20. First COVID-19 booster clinic for seniors scheduled for Oct. 13

The City of Somerville will host free flu and updated COVID-19 booster vaccination clinics for residents, including clinics open only to seniors aged 65+, in September and October.

In addition to Somerville’s public vaccine clinics, the City is also partnering with local schools, childcare centers, the Somerville Housing Authority, and organizations working with homebound community members to distribute the vaccines. The flu vaccine, and the updated COVID-19 booster dose, are provided at no cost, regardless of health insurance or immigration status.

Advance registration is required, and can be completed online at somervillema.gov/vaccineclinics or by calling 311 (617-666-3311).
