Calling all creative enthusiasts—are you excited for ArtBeat? Would you like to bring that excitement to the next level? If the answer is YES…..Saturday, July 16th, before ArtBeat officially begins, there will be a parade to kick-off the festival at 10:30am and they  are inviting the community to join in the fun.

To help prepare for the day-of the parade festivities, we will having a pre-ArtBeat parade craft workshop on Tuesday, July 12 from 5:30-7:30pm (Rain date, Wednesday, July 13) at  Chuckie Harris Park, East Somerville. With guidance from our workshop teachers, participants will create festive bird and butterfly rod puppets that can be used the day of the parade on Saturday, July 16.

 

Supplies will be provided. So, bring your creative energy for a bit of pre-festival fun. Hope to see some follow crafters there to help “rise” to the occasion.
