SHS Hockey Team wins GBL championship

The Somerville High School Hockey Team has won the GBL championship for the third year in a row. The Highlanders beat Northeast 6 to 3 and trounced Everett in the finals 8 to 1.

Goals were scored by Aiden O’Donovan assisted by Matthew DeAngelis; Nicky Cicerone assisted by Alec Morgan; Brendan Jones assisted by Dillon Marujo and Aiden O’Donovan; Chris Cassesso assisted by Nathan Doe and Sheamus Foley; Aiden O’Donovan; Matthew DeAngelis assisted by Aiden O’Donovan; Aiden O’Donovan assisted by Matthew Mariani and Brady Roche; and Nicky Cicerone.

The entire city salutes our champions for a job well done. Congratulations are also in order for the coaching staff and family members for the sacrifices they make in mentoring these young men.

A job well done and the Somerville High School Hockey team has put Somerville on the map in the GBL as Title Town.
