Project Misik celebration “In A Somerville Yard” at Blessing of the Bay Boathouse/Park

Join Zili Misik and the Somerville Arts Council for a celebration in a Somerville Yard with featured guests, Solomon Murungu (Zimbabwean mbira), Becky Bass (Trinidadian steel pan), Peniel Guerrier (Haitian drum and dance), DJLadyLy, and Gourmet Kreyòl Food Truck.
 
Come and enjoy free workshops in mbira, in steel pan, in Haitian music and dance. Come and enjoy a free Concert with all featured guests, including DJ Lady Ly in a set with award-winning, all-female band, Zili Misik. Come and SUPPORT woman-owned Gourmet Kreyòl Food Truck providing Haitian food.
