Somerville Police respond to assaults
 
On 7/29/21 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business in the area of Broadway and School St. for report of a past assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that a female customer entered the business and attempted to cash a check. When the female customer was told the check could not be cashed, she assaulted the victim with a plexi-glass barrier. Officers were able to identify the female suspect.

On 7/30/21 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a business in the area of Somerville Ave. and Lowell St. for report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the male victim who stated he got into an argument with another employee. During the argument, the other employee struck the victim multiple times. The victim suffered injuries to his head. Officers were able to identify the suspect.
 
On 7/31/21 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Somerville Police responded to Franey Rd. for report of a past dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the two female victims who stated they were harassed and assaulted by a group of four juvenile males in a nearby parking lot. The victims stated the juveniles made remarks toward them and one juvenile threw a beverage at them. The victims and the juveniles then began arguing and one of the juveniles struck one of the victims in her face. The juveniles fled toward Cedar St prior to police arrival. The juveniles were described as three white males and one black male.
