SPD update: January 2, shooting at 300 block of Lowell St.

Early Saturday morning January 2, at approximately 4:25 a.m., a 24-year-old male was shot in the forearm while leaving a residence on the 300 block of Lowell St. after an altercation at a private party. Somerville Police responded, and the victim, a Boston resident, was transported to MGH where he was treated for non-life-threatening injury and released. This appears to be an isolated incident. Police continue to investigate.
