What a wonderful article highlighting easy actions to protect our environment. This is a great resource given that the tips are very specific and achievable.

I am a firm believer that adapting our personal behaviors can have a ripple effect that spreads throughout society and lead to significant benefits for our environment. After more than 15 years of scrutinizing my habits to achieve minimal environment impact, I realized that many of my frustrations with our societal imbalance with nature could be broadly addressed with appropriate legislative action.

A federal-level fee on fossil fuels would act to minimize not only many of the fossil fuel-based products that are so difficult to manage post-consumer, but also would help us to transition to clean energy sources that would avoid pollution of our air and water. As a final step to this article, I recommend that readers write to their Congressperson in support of HR 763, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, which will address our environmental concerns from many angles.

Best,
