Community event to say thanks to State Rep. Denise Provost

On November 8, 2020, in Latest News, by The Somerville Times

Please join in on  Thursday, November 12 at 6:30pm for: “Thank you, Rep. Provost!” A Zoom event to express gratitude to out-going State Representative Denise Provost (27th Middlesex District)

State Representative Denise Provost has served the City of Somerville for more than 30 years as an Alderman, Assistant City Solicitor, State Representative, and community and school volunteer. Please join us to celebrate Denise, to thank her for representing us, to honor her for her service and to hear hellos from old friends.

Rep. Provost has worked to improve public health and public transportation, protect the environment, and is an advocate for the civil rights of all. She has brought hard work, deep caring, and broad experience in law to her public service roles, and dedicated her adult life to the City. Did she listen to your concerns? Fight for a cause you care about? Support your organization? Attend your community event? Come join us.

If you’d like to offer a personal thank you during the event, we ask that you let us know so we can add your name to the list. (Just email charand at hotmail.com) And to ensure there’s enough time for all, we ask that you keep your remarks to under a minute. We look forward to seeing you Thursday, November 12 at 6:30 pm.
