More than 60 organizations and vendors are set to participate in Elder Fair, the annual health and wellness expo hosted by Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services.

Connecting people with local programs that support independence and well-being is central to our mission at Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) — so it is with great pleasure that we invite the community to join us at Elder Fair 2018.

Now in its 19th year, Elder Fair is a free health and wellness expo that showcases useful services and government programs for older adults, caregivers, and people with disabilities.

All told, 62 local organizations and vendors will participate in Elder Fair 2018 as exhibitors, providing a wealth of information, health screenings and promotional giveaways.

The expo will also feature several SCES programs including:

The Aging Information Center free information and guidance on aging-related issues.

Adult Family Care a MassHealth-funded program that supports live-in caregivers.

Cambridge Connections Memory Cafe a free monthly social event for people with memory loss and forgetfulness.

Community Living Options a private pay program that provides a wide range of support services, including care management, relocation assistance, and facilitating family discussions about care.

Nutrition and Wellness programs that provide information and guidance on diet, exercise, and healthy living.

Elder Fair 2018 will take place at the Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill (30 Washington St. in Somerville), from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11.
