Somerville Public Schools (SPS) will host three Enrollment Information Sessions in November to help families prepare for the 2027–2028 Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment process.

Sessions will provide a detailed overview on choosing a school, completing enrollment, and accessing after-school care.

School tours for prospective families will also be offered in December and January. The district’s enrollment period opens Monday, January 4, 2027.

Enrollment Information Sessions

Families are invited to attend the session that best fits their needs. Two virtual sessions and one in-person session will be offered.

Students who will be 4 years old by August 31, 2027 are eligible for the district’s Pre-K program. Students who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2027 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Somerville Public Schools will offer public drop-in tours at all Pre-K to Grade 8 schools on December 3, January 13, and January 26. Additional details about participating schools and tour times will be shared in a forthcoming announcement.

The SPS Enrollment Office staff is available to answer questions and support families who cannot access online services and/or families needing additional support. Parents and guardians are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 617-629-5670. The office is located at 167 Holland Street, Room 209.
