The Union Square Neighborhood Council is excited to invite local organizations, nonprofits, artists, makers, volunteers, and neighbors to join us for our upcoming Kickball Connect Community Event on Saturday, May 30, at the Lincoln Park softball field, starting at 2:30 p.m.

They are putting together a fun, welcoming community day centered around a kickball tournament, neighborhood connection, and local organizations coming together in one shared space.

The event will include:

• A community kickball tournament
• Local nonprofit and community tables
• Art-making and banner activities
• “Tell Your Story” conversations
• Popsicles and refreshments
• Opportunities for neighbors to meet and connect

They would love to have your organization involved. Whether you would like to host a table, share resources, promote upcoming programs, volunteer, or simply come hang out and support the community, they would be excited to have you join us. This event is meant to be informal, collaborative, and community-driven. Bring materials if you’d like, or just bring yourselves.

It is $30 per team (minimum 7 players, maximum 15 players per team; at least 2 women and 2 men per team; one member designated as captain) or $5 if you’d like to individually sign up and be placed on a team.
