Liam Mannion, proprietor of Sally O’Brien’s, and Former Alderman Bob McWatters held their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Tuesday. Community members along with local and state elected officials stopped by to celebrate Irish heritage with music, corned beef and cabbage, a pint of Guinness, and plenty of laughter.

This year’s celebration had a terrific showing. Among the guests were Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Secretary of State William Galvin, State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, Governor’s Councilor Terrence Kennedy, District Attorney Marian Ryan, Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, Registrar Maria Curtatone, Former Congressman Michael Capuano, State Representative Christine Barber, State Representative Dan Ryan,  Mayor Jake Wilson, City Councilors Matt McLaughlin, Ben Ewen- Campen, Jesse Clingan, Naomi Sait, Jon Link, Ben Wheeler,  Kristen Strezo and Will Mbah. Former Mayor Dorothy Kelley Gay, Former Mayor Katjana Ballantyne, and Former Alderman John Connolly.
