On Wednesday, February 18, Somerville Police investigators assisted partners from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in recovering a military-grade AK-47 assault rifle that had been hidden in the common area of a residential building in Somerville. Two loaded magazines were also recovered. Special thanks to the DEA for their hard work and continued partnership in helping keep our community safe.
