Patricia Callinan, age 82, a resident of Cape Neddick, Maine, passed away peacefully at her home on February 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Patrick “Butch” Callinan with whom she enjoyed 33 years of marriage.
She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on November 9, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Hazel Mansfield Munro and Alexander Munro, Jr. and the sister of the late Thomas Munro.

She later joined Somerville Mayor Michael Capuano’s administration and retired as the Purchasing Agent for the City. Upon retirement, she and Butch became snowbirds spending winters in Naples, Florida and summers in Cape Neddick, Maine. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She shared her love of the beach with her grandchildren spending countless days with them enjoying the sand and surf in both Florida and Maine.
