Tours provide information for prospective families on selecting preferred school for Fall 2026

Somerville Public Schools’ (SPS) school enrollment period for prekindergarten and kindergarten students begins on Friday, January 2, preceded by a series of school tours for prospective families.

Schools open for tours are the Capuano Early Childhood Center (PK-K), Arthur D. Healey School (PK-8), Benjamin G. Brown School (K-5), East Somerville Community School (PK-8), Albert F. Argenziano School (PK-8), John F. Kennedy School (PK-8), West Somerville Neighborhood School (PK-8), and Winter Hill Community Innovation School (PK-8).

All SPS Pre-K to Grade 8 schools will conduct drop-in public tours at 9am, 10am, 11am, and 12pm on the following dates:

Tuesday, December 9
Thursday, January 8
Tuesday, January 27

Somerville High School tours for prospective families will be held at a later date.

The enrollment portal for Somerville Public Schools will open on Friday, January 2. Students who will be 4 years old by August 31, 2026 are eligible for the district’s Pre-K program. Students who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2026 are eligible for Kindergarten.

The SPS Enrollment Office staff is available to answer questions and support families who are unable to access online services and/or families needing additional support. Parents and guardians are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 617-629-5670. The office is located at 167 Holland Street in Somerville.
