Somerville residents three years and older eligible for vaccine; Vaccine Clinics begin in September

The cool air is a sign that the cold and flu season is approaching, which means it’s time for the annual flu vaccine clinics offered by the City of Somerville Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The clinics offer free flu vaccines for Somerville residents ages three (3) and older (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Clinics started on Thursday, September 20,and will be held at various times and locations in the community until the City’s supply of vaccine is exhausted. Due to limited availability, vaccines will be offered during official flu clinic hours only.

Sunday, November 4, 2018	St. Anthony’s Church – 12 Properzi Way	10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tuesday, November 6, 2018	Vote & Vax at the East Somerville Community School – 57 Glen Street Please use Glen St. entrance ESCS does not have to be your polling location to receive a vaccination at this clinic.	7 a.m. – 9 a.m. 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursday, November 8, 2018	City Hall – 93 Highland Ave	5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, November 20, 2018	City Hall Annex – 50 Evergreen Ave	10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

While there is no charge for vaccinations, attendees are asked to bring an insurance card if available. Residents requiring additional assistance or other accommodations should contact the Health Department at 617-625-6600 ext. 4320.

The City will add or adjust clinic schedules as necessary, and more information can always be found at www.somervillema.gov or by calling 311.
